Last night was Awards Night for MCJROTC. It was a lot of fun as usual...and this year Major made about a 300 picuter slide show that goes back all the way to last summer rifle camp.
There in the slide show was also video of people doing hilarious things when playing sports.
One was with Petty diving across the field toward me to try to intercept the football...he almost did, but the ground wanted him more then he wanted the football. XD
Anyway, so they started off reading the basic awards everyone can get as long as they earn it by doing what ever...I don't remember how many NEW ones I got, but I think its maybe three. I'm not sure though..:3
Then we went into the SPECIAL AWARDS. I got one! YAY! I got one last year, The Disabled American Vetaran Award and this year I got The Veterans of Foreign Wars JROTC Achievement Medal
What I got it for?
---Presented annually to one sophomore, junior or senior who is good overall academic standing, is active in extracurricular activities and possesses individual characteristics contributing to leadership both in and out of uniform.
WOOOOHOOOO! XDDD
That made me realllly happy!!!
Then I also got another award....LE-2 CADET OF THE YEAR!!!
That means of of all the second year cadets in the program, I was teh BEST. WOO! XDDD That I wasn't expecting, I thought Chris Noffke was going to get it but then Sgt. Major called my name and I was flippin!
My mum was real proud of me and so was my grandpa!
^-^
Even Staff Sgt Hardin was proud of me! If I never mentioned to him hes an active duty Marine who just got back from Iraq on leave for awhile.
He PT's with us ALL the time. Its a lot of fun!
Mkay so, yeah. I got to talk to Mrs. Major last night which was really nice.
She IS a VERY nice lady and she pretty funny too. XD
She was like, "I'm just so tickled" and I thought that was funny. >.<;
Anywho!
My mum got to talk to my science teacher last night. T-T Mr. Lowery was saying (I heard this from my mum), "I wish I could get her out of that class. The rest of the students need to get a baby sitter." and my mom was just laughing to herself because I've told her what a bunch of idiots my science class holds.
Literally, I'm about the only SANE SMART one in that class that doesn't talk.
The reason I don't talk?
I know about ONE person in that class! T-T
Well, Adam, hes real smart (his average is like a 102.3% from what Mr. Lowery told me. >.> Thats like 4% more then me. LOL! ) and pretty quite, but he has a bad habbit of Foot in Mouth. >.>
Ummm....
Oh!
This coming saturday is the FIELD MEET! YESSS! I cannnnnot wait! Its going to be so freaking fun. LOL!
*bounces giddly in seat*
Okay, SCHOOL.
I've got to go and find out what I made on my Math test...which I think is really good. :3

Tootles my loves!
