I haven't updated in a long time so I must apologise for my rudeness. Yeah..that's funny. *bows*
Okay, so nothing has happened in the last few days, but before that I had a busy weekend. Friday, I got picked up at my house while Lyra and her family were on their way to Lake James and she neglected to mention that I was invited to come along till she was about 20 minutes from my house. -.- What a way to give a girl a warning!
So yeah, it was around...6:40 I believe when I was dragged away from The Host that I just finished and wanted to attempt to re-read it before it was due back at the library...but didn't even get to re-read the first page. Oh well..I'll just check it out again before I leave for camp so I don't go mad with Jacob Yant there the whole time to annoy me.
Friday night, we played poker. Woooo. Don't cha just loooove poker? I do, I dun know 'bout you, but I can play a good game of poker once I get started. XD Strip poker...don't tempt me. LMAO.
So it was just the girls that were playing, (Lyra, her mother, her maw maw and me at the table inside the camper) and we played poker with wilds in it. Reece (Lyra's younger brother) got to call the wilds and he would ALWAYS call the number (or suit) either higher or lower than what I REALLY wanted. Just my blasted luck. Though I wasn't the only one that wanted to throtle him for his lack of picking skills...Maw maw was ready to curse up and down.
Now that women knows how to play a MEAN hand of poker. She was staring me down trying to tell if I was bluffing or not. I wasn't. I can't bluff...I just can't.
Saturday morning we woke up...and might I add to an UTTERLY ANNOYING RING TONE on Lyra's phone, I was ready to chuck it out with window as soon as I had to crawl out of bed...over Lyra (I hope I crushed her toes too. <3 ) and get the bloody thing.
If you don't know this about me, but once I'm up..that's it..I'm up for the day..unless, I happen to read and reading makes me tired and I take a nap. :3
So I'm just laying there in bed, looking at the ceiling of the camper debating if I wanted to roll ontop of Lyra to wake her up or not. I decided against it and thought it would be utterly mean of me to do it. Lyra not a morning person, I might add. She doesn't yell at ya or anything, just gives you a deadly glare and doesn't speak to you. Lol.
I'm the complete opposite...okay, I don't smile and jump for joy, but at least I don't glare...I actually try to have a conversation with the chick. Didn't work...thought Amber is just as bad at Lyra is. They need a little joy in their first breaths of daylight. *sigh*
So we went to this...damn, I can't think of what it's called...Uh....not a famer's market...flea market were people sell their junk to you at outragious prices if you ask me. Anyway we got there are started walking around and someone pointed out a hand painted sign that said, "No sailing of chickens..." I don't remember the rest of the sign though.
So I was cracking up with laughing and I'm like, "Lyra, give me your phone, I'm taking a picture of it."
I marches right up to the sign...and the people I guess who made it were right on the other side of the fence, though I couldn't care less, and took a picture of it! I wish I could get the picture on here for ya'll to see..it was just so funny looking. That made my whole week right then and there.
Okay, so yeah, spent a while at the market...they were giving away free kittens...okay, they were cute. But I'm sure when they grow to be full blown cats, they will hiss and scratch at you like there ain't no tomorrow. I hate cats. Ew. Lyra wanted one soooo bad, but her mother was like NO so she calls up her dad and she used the whole, "But it's my birthday next weekend, please can I have one?" and hes all "Okay, you can have all of them, just take them home and bring them to my house next time you come." and she gets all happy about it. Her mom wasn't so happy about it and forbid her to bring them in her car. So she didn't get to have them. LOL. I wasn't about to go the whole weekend with those things at the camper..I would have thrown them in the river before sunday night.
Uh, the rest of saturday we, no let me rephrase that, LYRA was fishing most of the day, and I rufused to go outside in the blasted inferno heat and burn to death. I love her, but not that much. I love heat, but not that much. It was humid suffocating type heat..not my cup of tea, sorry. So I was at the camper with Amber and Chewy (that's the name of a three month old bassit (spelling?) hound with big brown floppy ears, a she-dog might I add...and she gets her name because she likes to bite you all the time.) Amber and I decided that the dog was an EMO.

While we were in the camper and Lyra was fishing, I was flipping around Amber's iPod...she had some okay bands on there...Linkin Park was mostly my choice the whole weekend, SUE ME, I love them...and I was listening to most of the songs off their new CD Minutes to Midnight. Okay, it's nothing like their other CD's and I was kinda dissapointed at first, but then I started to actually LISTEN to just the LYRICS and decided I feel in love with the CD. Valentines Day was a good one.

and this one instrumental I can't think of what the name is. HAHA!
I made this little design out of my first name and colored it with markers then held it up and decided it needed something else. So I wrote "It's" above "Jessica" then under it I wrote "But EBERHART sounds better" Amber thought it was cute and Lyra was laughing because it's so perfect in it's own way. Really, Eberhart just sounds so much better if you PRONOUNCE it correctly. Jessica is just so...bland. Overused. A solid 0, if you ask me. Wahhhhh, I love my last name. XD
I started reading a Stephen King book of a collection of short stories called Everything Eventual. The first short storie I thought was the best...Autopsy in Room Four. The rest of them were kinda a let down if you ask me. Now, The Host I read before I left on my little vacation, was WONDERFUL. It was nice and thick (600+ pages of pure bliss) thought I read it way to fast...two and half days, sometimes going 12 hours non-stop reading it...goes to show I loved the book. IAN IS FLIPPIN' AWESOME. MEL CAN JUST GO DIE. AND WANDA KICKS ASS. <3333
Later that night we go fishing for carps...not that we caught any, mind you...but I didn't fish..I don't LIKE fishing nor do I have the patience to carp fish so I was listening to music most of the time before I got a hold of Chewy and played with her for awhile....of more of let Chewy pull me around because she wanted to attack Amber...so I ran with her on that. It was highly funny.

Amber was getting her ankles bit and everything.
I go back and sit with Lyra and we start talking about things ya'll don't need to know about and she suddenly says, "I've got to get you back for the stunt you pulled at my party." The stunt she is referring about is when I asked the people at my table to shout "AWW" really loud when she and Chris had to dance together (they aren't dating). I just smirk and give her an idea before I relized what I told her she could use against me. So I kinda screwed myself on that one...but quickly covered my own ass telling her, "If you dare attempt to try it I will post that picture of you and Chris everywhere I can think of and make sure his girlfriend see it." that shut her up real fast but she decided to mention, "Jayme wouldn't give you that picture." Jayme is her stepday by the way, he took the photo. "Sure he would, he does consider me as his own you know. It wouldn't be hard to get a copy of it." I knew at this point I had her because she was smiling like she knew I knew I had her. "You play dirty."
Hell yes I do..blackmail is the best thing a girl can run on. SO! Lyra, dear, if you DARE try to pull off YOUR little stunt with ANYONE's help, you KNOW I've got that picture and I'm not scared to use it, love. <3
OKAY! So yeah, that kept her and I busy for awhile. We were talking with this friend of her cousin, his nickname is Chuckles, thought I don't know his first name, and he's about 19 I think...but yeah, we were in this conversation and I look over Lyra's shoulder and mutter, "The bell is ringing." and they just both look at me and Chuckles dives for the fishing rod to try to catch the carp...he was too late. We were crackin' up about it too. XD
Sunday rolls around and this is were most of the fun starts. We were plannig on leaving in the morning, but then we decided to go out on the lake in the pontoon (who does that look like I spelled it wrong? Maybe I did..) and the speed boat. Before we went though we had to clean up the camper and everything and find out bathing suit. :3 Hell would freeze over before I wore nothing but a bathing suit...no, I wouldn't..I wore my water shorts too. LOL. Amber and I did some stuff that is just too funny to tell you, so I wont. XD
Anyway, we are all ready to go out on the lake and Lyra mother found out that I've never been in a boat before or a lake (I have been in the ocean though...and I like it better than a lake now that I've been in one) and had a field day of laughing at that little fact. Man, I've tried so many things since I've been to Lyra's for the first time...Liver mush (EW) is just the beginning of it. XD
So we go out on the lake, and Lyra, her mom, stepdad, sister, little brother, and I go on her uncle Jerry's speed boat which was rather run. Jaime (stepdad) let me even drive it for awhile! It was hard to get used to in the first few seconds, but I got the hang of it pretty fast...what can you possibly crash into, right? LMAO.
The two boats ancor at this one spot and all the kids just jumped into the water, which was rather warm and nice. But for the fact that there are fish and snakes in the water, I was getting used to it. Lyra was trying to drown her sister the whole time and Amber expected me to help her get away from Lyra. I know when I to keep to myself in water with Lyra...that girl can be visious when she's after you and let me tell you, it's HARD swimming with a life jacket (all the kids have to wear them, or at least hold onto one). She's a great swimmer, but she knows I'm better at it then her. Heheheheeeeee! <3
IT STARTED TO RAIN. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN. Yeah, the rain was rather COLD so we docked the boat's a this marina and went to get something to eat. I WAS FREEZING because Ididn't bring a change of clothing on the boat and all I had was a damp towel, from the rain, to wrap myself up in. BRRRRRRR. We waited the storm out then went back on the lake to actually do the fun part I wanted to do so bad.
Tubing. You know what that is right? There is this big innertube that you can sit in (there isn't a hole in the bottom of it) and you hold onto the handles as you get pulled by a speed boat connected by a long rope. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. They were trying to get me to fly out of it, but I didn't budge. Jaime said that everytime he looked back at me, I had a huge smile on my face.
I was even laughing....not what they were expecting because Amber was SCREAMING when she went on it right before me. LOL!!
It kinda hurt too...the water sprays in your face...it stings...but I can't deny that when they turned, and I went flying across the water in the tube, I was enjoying myself.
They also had a wake board and I would've done it in a heartbeat, but Lyra's mom is like, "I don't want to send you back to your mother broken in two" and she didn't let me. T-T
Okay, I'm tired of typing all this and I just watched the WORSE movie I've ever seen in my life.
2001: A Space Odyssey.
I recommend don't watch the thing if you don't want to waste your life.
My mother, brother and I watched it and couldn't find the point to it other than evolution.
My mom made me read her this synopsis of it and I don't feel like ever talking about it again.
And AFI movie thingy said it was the number ONE science-fiction movie of all time. MY ASS.
Tootles.
Sorry it was so long..but I've not updated it awhile. 10 days to be exact.
I smell cleaning products. Ew.
