Surely this travesty should never have occurred
When the world seemed to end and the struggle began
The gaps between the classes erased, names forgotten
Frightened beyond comprehension, plaguing the masses
Learning that we are now insignificant in this battle

Fearing our friends, neighbors, our family...
The thought of being captured haunts our every moment
Our ventures are cautious, scared to be found
We hide in the slums, in hopes of being figuratively free
We were once on the same level, now we are the game

The thunderous pounding of foot steps are coming!
Our cry's echo, through the thickness of the unforgiving
Shouts foreign to our native ears, anger is only common
To our knees we fall on this cold cobbled street
We are the innocent...punished for their game of war
